All I can say is wow!! Ben and Chris are timely, professional, and thorough! My shed demolition which required them to smash and remove the shed as well as a concrete pad and dig out about 10 poles that were firmly cemented in the ground (and I was told could not be done by others) is beyond my expectation. EVERY detail was taken care of. Ben met with me initially and reviewed the pros and cons of our options. He carefully walked me through aspects of this job that I had not considered and that other contractors overlooked. Chris and his workers were so polite and left the site and surrounding area immaculate.Without hesitation I would highly recommend Bella contracting! ~ Susan M

I just bought a condo in Torrington Connecticut and I needed some work done. I live out of state so I was a little nervous about going with someone who I didn't know. I found Bella contracting online and they had good reviews so decided to give them a try. I spoke with the owner Ben about tearing out one of those big framed in and tiled pink 80's Era jacuzzi tubs. Even though it's not a big job Ben was very accommodating. The gentlemen that he sent was very professional as well as his helper. Overall, they showed up, did the job quickly and efficiently and cleaned everything up nicely. Those good reviews are well deserved. I will definitely use them again for some bigger jobs. We have worked with Ben on multiple home projects. Each and every time Ben and his crew has been top notch. They are always professional, polite and hard working. Last year they demolished and removed a portion of our deck, removed rocks and lumber from the property and took down an old shed. This year Ben helped design and then built a concrete patio and had concrete poured to fix another area that was becoming an issue. The pricing has always been very fair. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Ben again for future projects and I highly recommend him. He truly works with you and wants to accomplish the goals/ projects you have for you home. ~ Scott B

We had a 1500 sq ft finished basement full of trash (i.e. pool table, workout machines, furniture, bar, wall shelves, wine cellar, workshop, etc) and mold that need to emptied and stripped (ceiling, paneling, drywall, insulation, studs, baseboard heating) down to the cinderblock walls and floor joist ceiling leaving only the electrical hanging in tact from the ceiling. Ben came and assessed and his price was below two other estimates. The crew were professional and polite, frequently checked-in to confirm certain items were indeed to be removed before demolishing them, and always took measures to make sure I was safe from hanging electrical or sharp nails and debris when I came down to see how things were going. They knocked it out fast (four 30 yard containers full), left the place bare, and removed the the containers fast once the job was complete. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend for any substantial demo job. ~ Brian B

Great job overall. Ben was very communicative and responded quickly to messages. My building has specific requirements for contractors and Ben jumped through all the hoops with the paperwork. The team arrived on time and executed the job professionally, and the team leader (Adrian) did a great job and made sure everything was taken care of. Truck guys were solid too-- they got the rig into the back of the building no problem and hauled everything away. And just like that, it was all over, a smooth operation and no snags. Ben is an absolute beast!!! His guys got the job done in 4 days!!!! Did you hear that? 4 days!!!! Most of these other guys take weeks and they got it done in less than a week. I recently contracted Ben to do a garage tear down and am very pleased with the service. There were town headaches to navigate through but despite that it all got done without issue. The crew that showed up to do the job knocked it out super fast and did a good job with cleanup, they were also very friendly and professional. We used Bella to pull the first and second-story porches off a small house we are renovating in Litchfield County. They did a terrific job. Accurately estimated it, showed up on time, were extremely organized and thoughtful , cleaned up afterwards and sealed the house up with tarps which was a good thing as it poured the next day. We called to get a concrete slab broken up to make room for a pool installation in our backyard. Of course, we had left it to the last minute, and Bella was able to come out the next day and get this huge slab broken down- including the surprising 2 foot thick footer around the perimeter. I needed a shed destroyed to close on a loan, and Bella D&C showed up immediately. I called them on Monday evening, they were out there Tuesday afternoon with the mini excavator and carting truck.
